Bibione is a small town near the sea on the Adriatic Riviera by the mouth of the river Tagliamento at the Port of Baseleghe. The area was once chracterized by a wide pinewood, destroyed during the drainage operations between 1910 and 1930.
The town offers many touristic proposals, ranging from hotel accomodation to the rental of small holiday apartments just a few steps from the sea.
The city centre, with its well-dislocated green areas, the outdoor playing grounds, the cool and ventilated climate, which ensures an almost five month-long holiday season, make Bibione a little holiday paradise.
The seabed is rather shallow and stretches along a 400 mt long beach on the far eastern edge of the Veneto region. |
